On behalf of everyone at Little Pear Garden Collective, I welcome you with open arms to website.

The Little Pear Garden Collective site is visually stunning and fun to explore. I invite you to take the time to get to know us: our organization, our history, our mission, our performers, staff, volunteers and board members and our activities.

Since its inception in 1994, the Little Pear Garden Collective has been committed to the vision of creating a canon that preserves and promotes the richness of Chinese performing arts through high caliber presentations and productions. In addition, we are dedicated to facilitating a deeper understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese performing arts as a viable art form. I believe this website is an important step towards our endeavors.

As this collective moves into the next decade, new artistic direction, exciting projects and presentations are in the works. A calendar of events that lists performances, workshops and presentations will keep you up-to-date on our past and future activities.

I encourage you to visit our site regularly and stay informed. Watch for our exciting fall 2006 program and I hope to see you at the next show!
